In an attempt to recruit a few more members, Finn tracks down former teammate Sam Evans and convinces him to come back to the glee club. Tina comes to the defense of Mike and encourages him to pursue his dream while McKinley prepares to host the big sectionals performance.

Normally the sectionals are a highlight for me given the increased number of songs etc but this episode was dreadful. I wouldn't have put the New Directions in 1st after that performance.

Starting to display the talent for next year already though.

I really enjoyed this episode, but it did strike me when Harmony (Lindsay from the Glee Project) said she was a "sophomore" and "next year would be a blood bath" - that maybe they have plans for her in Season 4 and beyond?

    The replacement "Rachel" maybe?

I also loved the Sebastien / Kurt face off , and when Blaine finally snapped and asked Finn what his problem with him was.

Another thing I was delighted to see was Tina finally getting a bit of screentime, and a shot at a solo. She is a fantastic singer, who doesn't get enough screen time. She sang True Colours solo at the Dublin gig in July and was amazing.

Loved this one... reminded me so much of season 1....

I loved this performance too: gave me chills! ( for the 1st time in a long time!)

New Directions were crap! They should have come third (although obviously that couldn't happen)

Sad to see the end of the Troubletones, they were much better than New Directions. Their Adele mashup was one of the best performances ever on Glee (IMO). I hope they give more airtime to Mercedes and Santanas singing, getting bored with Rachel and Kurt hogging the limelight.

Very good exposure for Lindsay from the Glee project, much better than what Damien has done so far. Not sure if she would pass for a sophmore though.

My guess is Santana, Brittany and Mercedes decided to bring her back to New Directions with them

I really liked this week - airtime for Mike and Tina was surprisingly good as was her getting a solo at sectionals, I liked the scenes between Kurt and Sebastian and between Blaine and Finn. Rory is a waste of airtime sadly.

And I really think now that if anyone is going to become a big star after this, it will be Naya Rivera - beautiful, great delivery and can seriously hold a tune. To think she spent the first season hiding in the background with the odd bitchy quip - how could they not have used that voice more? Although I guess Rachel got at least every second number back then...
