    Hi all,

Hope you can help me with the following:

Can an employer pay for all or part of an employees education tax free?

For example, if the employer is paying €3,000 per year towards education fees for one of its employees, must the employer pay tax on top of that?

    This should answer your question.

    Thanks for that.

I THINK I understand. So if an employer is paying part of my course fees and it does relate to the job, do they put that sum through the payroll and I'd pay tax on it as normal?
