If someone is scrapping a light commercial because of corrosion but which is otherwise intact and driving and wants: 1) to get some money for it 2) a cert of destruction and the vehicle never to appear back on the road 3) everything to be legal and above board What is the best way to go about it? I was just googling there…

What is the best way to go about it?

I was just googling there and the Authorised Treatment Facilities that I found say they don't pay for vehicles. They do issue certs of destruction on the spot though

Is there a difference between a dismantler and an ATF? Would a dismantler pay for a vehicle and issue a COD?
