Looking to get a memory foam mattress topper for my bed. I moved into a new house 2 months ago and the new matress I have is very very soft. I have been getting back trouble lately and think this is the cause. Has anyone got a matress topper before? Will it work on a soft matress?

Did you manage to find a memory foam mattress topper? I'm looking for one for myself...

I can't imagine a topper working on a soft mattress. You'd probably be better off getting rid of the mattress altogether and if it's a divan base, putting it straight on that. It should be illegal to sell **** quality mattresses :D

No my mattress is actually a hard one, looking to buy a mattress topper to soften it up. I know they'll all be around the 100euro mark just looking to find one. I know of someone who bought one in TK Maxx and says its amazing but I've looked there and they said they only get them in the odd time.....

Sorry my reply was for the OP about their soft mattress :)

    IKEA sell them: http://www.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/30155632/#/40263018

250euro is a little over my budget, I was hoping around 100-150 for a king size. They're wicked expensive

Yes. We got an excellent mattress topper and it makes the foam mattress bearable. It's filled with duck and down feathers and has "pockets" so that the feathers don't shift. We got the topper in a shop in Mount Merrion, Dublin called; "Top Drawer". NO NUMBERS

I bought an Ikea topper on ebay and it is the business. It is a memory foam one and cost €150.00
