Guys, found a springer last saturday while out shooting in north Galway.
I won't be putting pics and description here as i have a funny feeling i will get hundreds of replies.
He wasn't hungry and seemed well looked after so wasn't alone for long
So if you lost your dog ( north Galway ) over the week-end give me some details of color / sex etc...

    Thanks

Did you get it scanned for a chip? If it has one the owner can be found easily through IKC..........if the dog is registered of course

    No i did not.
You would need to bring him to a vet to scan it?

Vet will defenetly have a scanner or if you know a good breeder they might have one. If the dog has a chip just take the number and ring the IKC and they will have the records on the owner and breeder of the dog of file

try having the local radio on. one of the lads lost a pup out hunting and put a add on the radio. 3 weeks later someone contacted the radio station with the pup.

You can ask the radio station to put a add up for you for free saying a springer was found in X area leaving it vague so the right owners will have to describe the dog.
