They won't ship it to Ireland

This was mentioned in the last Play.com SD card bargain alert. I got 2x 16gb SD cards delivered to me about a month ago.

The method is explained in the previous thread on what needs to be done to get it delivered to you. Worked without a hitch for me.

What idfference would i expect to see if using this(Just for music, mainly..) as opposed to a class 10 one like this in a smartphone?

When copying music to the card it will take longer with the class 4 as opposed to the class 10 but other than that there will be no other noticeable usage difference.

Might it be a problem if you were videoing? Could the phone write the video recording to the card quickly enough?

I actually can't remember. I'm pretty sure I just used my own address, making sure to add Ireland in there. And had UK selected. My items arrived to me safe and sound!

i moved from a 16gb class 4 microSD to a class 10 32gb one and the difference when copying data to/from it is quite astounding and makes a difference if you use your phone a lot. don't see myself ever getting anything less than a class 10 card in the future, just because there isn't a huge difference in price, for the difference in speed you get.

He was only asking about music but yea, you would have lots of problems recording HD video on anything below class 6. I had a class 6 in a canon 600D and I could only get about 15 seconds of HD before the buffer filled and shut down. On a phone it probably wouldn't cause too many problems as you wouldn't be recording in HD.

I've a class 2 card in my xperia play, that lets me record in HD.

Iv ordered but i just got an email saying "account declined" .

I changed details...& keep saying account declined. Then i got the AIB/mastercard additional security & it said processed.

Went back into my account, and again Account Declined.

    Very Strange!

I paid about €90 for a class 2 32gb card 18 months ago. How times change.
