    Does anybody know a good independant garage that does a full diagnostics on BMW at a good price in Dublin South??:confused:

    I work for a bm specialist myself.are u after your car to get full diagnostics with the BMW gt1 is what we use or on the brand new bmws we use the BMW icom

    Is it just a diagnostic scan you are after?
    yeah a full diagnostic(if thats what you call it) i got an EML light on the other day and a few things like the rev counter stuck on it and it idled roughly till i got it to the side of the road. i turned it off and left it for a minute and then back on and it started back up ok. it`happened before and it seems to only happen after it rains.it could be water gettin in somewhere?? its a 316i -year -03.

    Its finding someone to properly read and understand the diagnostic codes that's more important IMO. Almost any scanner will read the basic codes.

    If the light came on the fault will be recorded even if the light is off now.

    thanks i got a number off a chap who offered to look at it. he works at BMW
