Credit Card Blocked

I entered a wrong pin three times today at a point of sale and the card was blocked. Does this mean it is blocked for pin transactions only or is it blocked for cardholder-not-present transactions also, i.e. internet and telephone transactions?

Just pin transactions. You should be able to unlock it from an ATM if you know the pin.
