Starts on Syfy - US tonight

The cast for this two-night adaptation of the prequel to J.M. Barrie's 'Peter Pan' includes Rhys Ifans as Hook, Keira Knightley (voicing Tinker Bell), Anna Friel as Captain Bonny and Charlie Rowe as Peter Pan.

is that Bob Hoskins at 1:35? wasn't he in Hook?

edit: just looked it up and he is playing the same character, Smee

Just about to watch this. Not sure why, I am not the biggest an of the story and no one in the line up sets me a tingle, but the power of an ad campaign has lured me in! :D

I was hoping to find more posts about it on here to see if it was worth it or not! Sure here goes!

I'm not sure which is worse - the acting or the CGI. The story isn't bad so I'll give the next episode a watch.

Looks cool, nice to see Smee back, he was great in the original.

^ promo looks excellent, pretty big budget too....decent looking effects. Solid cast...um, but what is it doing on SyFy?

SyFy US, big difference to the one we get over here, they show WWE Smackdown over there. It is directed by the same guy who did Tinman. It will be on Sky Premier here on Friday at 18:30 with part 2 on the following Friday.

Cheers....Tinman was actually very good, i like the reinterpretations of the classics :)

Not enough Bob Oskins,Rhys Ifans was quite good through out, you can really hear the Dustin Hoffman "Peeetarrr", the story was good but it was over way too quick for me. I do hope there is a sequel in the works.

Seen part 1 & 2. I was left unimpressed by the end.
Interesting slight science fiction concept -
planet hopping via gateway/portal provided by device
    - but other than that, I would just say its something watchable for a slow day.
