Would really appreciate opinions on this laptop, final price including vat and delivery is 598euro. Is that a good price for those specs or would there be better deals around for laptops with similar specs? My budget is 600euro max. Thanks in advance for any replies.

What will you be using the laptop for?
If gaming isn't a concern of yours then you would be able to get a Core i5 with integrated graphics for around the €500 mark.

But for the overall setup it's a pretty good price alright.

I mean seeing as his budget is 600 he might as well get the GFX card, gives a bit more flexibility, futures proofs it more, and better resale value.

Solid specs for the price. A friend had an XPS, couldn't be happier with it.

Cheers for the replies Jaafa and Fluffy, that's exactly what I was thinking Jaafa. I'm trying to get the most out of my budget. I'll be using the laptop mainly for college but would also use it for gaming although it's not a priority, it's a bonus that the card comes within budget. Just wasn't sure if there's anything similar or even better out there for my budget as I haven't bought a laptop in 5 years so have lost track of pricing and didn't know if this was the best I could do with my budget.

You wont do better really, maybe you could but it wont be marginal. I'd say go for it while the offer is there.

I went ahead and bought this laptop today, I searched various sites and couldn't find anything better for my budget. I even rang dell and tried to get them to add on the 1080p screen for an extra 100e but they were having none of it stating that the deal is already the best they could offer. Thanks for the opinions lads I really appreciate them and they certainly helped me make up my mind about the purchase
