Christmas party dress - opinions needed!

    I'm just wondering if I can get away with this dress for my Christmas party? I'm on a bit of a budget this year so don't want to buy a new dress if I can avoid it! Wore this to a summer wedding, but I'm not sure if the material is too light (its cotton) or if I can get away with it. Planning on wearing close toed heels the same color as the dress. Thanks a mill :)
