Adding artwork in itunes

Ok finally got an iphone 4s, previously had a 3gs and had no problems adding artwork in itunes.I like to keep me phone nice and tidy(ie with artwork for every track in itunes) but i'm finding it impossible to add artwork to any of my tracks no matter what method i try and use,any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Go to google, looking for the album you require, eg Foo Fighters. Copy the artwork provided, usually in wikipedia.
Go to itunes, right click on the relevant track,scroll to Add Info, click on Artwork, right click then paste and Voila.
I do this for every track required. If someone knows how to get the artwork for the entire album in one fell swoop, then I'd love to know.

done all that,as ive previously said i had no problem with that method with my 3gs but it simply wont add artwork whatsoever now with my new phone.

Dont! i added all my artwork was always fine on my 3gs but for whatever reason on my iphone 4 its all mixed up,


when song 'a' is playing im looking at the artwork for artist 'z' they are all mixed up and its frustrating when you are listening in the car to the chilli peppers and when you look at your phone its foo fighters artwork! :mad:

To do the entire album in one go
Hold down control key and select all songs in album, and then do your steps as noted

search for the album cover picture in google images, then just drag it to iTunes where it says put artwork here(bottom left of itunes). Choose a medium sized image, because iTunes doesnt like low pixel images.

Thanks lads for the help but iv'e already tryed all that and no joy.I just think the tracks look better with all the artwork than the bland music note,i'm sure there must be a solution.

Clear the existing artwork first. Do for ALL tracks of the album by get info, clear artwork or save a blank one. Then use amazon to drag the required picture into the get info box after re selecting each track of the album. It is painful but it will then save as a tag to each track. You may have multiple pictures stored for each track that you can't see

After a week of tearing me hair out(only some album art appearing,and then tracks skippin and refusing to play when i did finally get the art on)i finally found an alternative which worked a treat.Any one having this problem should use copy trans manager,it's free and hassle free.I won't be going back to itunes in a hurry.
