I have 2 of the Original 360s a launch day 20Gb 360 Premium and an arcade for about a year and a half ago. Is there any point in asking Santa for a 360 slim? What are the benifits? I was thinking of just getting a new HDD for the old Xbox is that basically the same thing?

Im on the prowl for a slim 360 also. I have a 20GB Classic to and while it does the trick, it wont take one of these: http://calibur11.com/store/details.php?product_id=14371

Plus I wouldnt mind loading a load of music on there to have playing in the headphones when im smashing lads in gears and MW3

Is the slim more powerful or anything?

More powerful??? If you mean graphics wise, no. It's got built in wireless, Kinect enabled, it's quieter and less prone to RROD.

Have a wireless adaptor, not internested in Kinect, and the RROD doesnt bother me because I have 2 nd my mate fixes them. Suppose I'll just stick to the old xbox so.

And you were contemplating replacing your Xbox with an XBox????

Its different though, the Xbox has a bigger HDD and I thought it may have better gpu or CPU but it doesn't so I won't get one. I actually do see the appeal of buying a case for your Xbox but I don't see the appeal of spending 10 hours working to put a few lights in it.
