First of all, I hope this is in the right forum. I looked around and though you guys would be best placed to answer this:

Obviously for girls we can get a cocktail dress BUT what do guys wear?

Is it suit with open collar? If so must it be a dark suit?...this is for the guest im bringing.

Probably better in the fashion forum, but I believe it means suit & tie for men!
