Ya ours melted and made everywhere wet, but like an hour ago it snowed really really heavy and its lying on the grass and deck and cars with 1cm, but its just slushy on the concrete, its starting to freeze though (0.5c), tonight looks far better than last. We had sheet ice aswell this morning.

Actually i had snow in april here.. but anyway.. after all the rain we've had today its finally turned to snow and its like a blizzard out there i wasn't expecting this as they said snow on hills but whatever, if it starts to stick it'll be mad! 1c now so only a bit to go and then it'll be lying. As usual this is probably the back end of the rain band, :(

I was just up the hill behind me (300m) and i was amazed at the difference between my house at 50m and there the temp at mines was 2c and up there it was -1c! the snow was dry aswell and it looks like it was there for quite a long time, its solid. About 5 inches heres some pics. Its like a different world up there.

Been snowing here pretty much constantly for the past two hours! Started as sleet then went to wet snow now dry powder snow big fluffy flakes temp is down to 0c and it's sticking on cars GRASs roofs and now starting to go white on concrete hopefully this continues for another few hours so we can get a couple of inches! It looks like the lough foyle has a mini lake effect streamer! Hopefully it stays all night I don't want green grass or I'll be mighty depressed
