how to go from UPC/SKY Hard drive to a computer?

    im looking to get some recordings off my UOC box and onto my laptop, just not sure how i can do this?

    Can't be done for encrypted recordings.

    For any FTA recordings eg.BBC then try copy+ http://www.skycopyplus.co.uk/

    start by submerging your laptop in dry ice. this gets it ready and will not damage it.

    Would this be not against the charter asking how to copy television recordings, its like asking for torrents or illegal downloads is it not.

    It's more or less impossible anyway. Connecting the HDD to your laptop or desktop isn't difficult but actually decrypting the files can't be done at present thanks to Sky and the encryption they use with Sky+.
