Ordered 2 items from the same seller on a Chinese website .

He used the same tracking number for both items . - Did'nt notice this until a package arrived .

One package was delivered , and still waiting for the other .

But of course , the tracking number is saying that both items have been delivered successfully .

Did anyone ever have this experience ?

Could be just a mistake when the wrote back to you they put the same number.

Contact them to let them know only 1 item arrived and enquire about tracking number for the 2nd

Have been emailing the seller since last Tuesday and not receiving a reply .

Which has us worried that it was a ploy by the seller to use the same tracking number.

All I can say is dont rely on PayPal

Go straight to Visa card company if there's a problem (if you used Visa or possibly Mastercard etc)

    That's happens me with UPS.
If 6 boxes are sent in one shipment and I receive 5, the shipment gets marked as complete, but I receive the 6th a day later... Not ideal, but it seems to work...

Paypal won't rule in our favour , as the seller can confirm successful delivery.

Will just have to wait and see if it arrives this week , but we did expect it to show up last week .

stevek93 Yes but i always pay with paypal as you have come back

From personal experience on one occasion I found them poor, in fact useless - a waste of time. Left it to Visa

Were the two separate orders, or one order with two packages? If there were two orders then they only have tracking and confirmed delivery for one of them.

Always start any dispute with Paypal, and if that fails then resort to the credit card. Starting with a credit card dispute is a good way of getting your Paypal account closed. Not a bad thing if you don't care about the Paypal account, but if you rely on it then you're shooting yourself in the foot for no reason.

It was two separate orders from the same seller .-

2nd package has still not arrived , and seller is not responding to emails .

He definately knew what he was doing by providing the same tracking number for different packages .

A scam in my opinion -

Dispute opened and waiting for a decision - luckliy the amount involved is small ( €40 )

    Hi Op

Can you post the link to the sellers ad please?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,893 ✭✭✭allthedoyles

Providing a link to the seller is not going to advance this thread , so it won't happen .

Will let you know the outcome of the dispute process in due course.

Providing a link to the seller may not assist you any further with your problem ....but it may help others if they intend having future dealings with the same seller. This is supposed to be a community of sorts after all
