    Alright lads, I'm looking to see, where will give me the most decent trade in value on my 3DS, since my mum bought me one for christmas(ignorant of the fact I have my own), so. Does anyone know how much I'l be looking at?

    If it's unopened and never been used, you could sell it on Adverts.ie

    If it was bought in the last 2 weeks I'm pretty sure by law they have to accept it and give you a refund.
    This might just be a law solely for internet purchases though...

    No I didn't... I got it from Cex a week ago last Saturday.

    Did you download any games to it? If so hold on to it and transfer the games to your new 3ds first.

    Is the used 3ds eligible for the ambassador games.

    I registered it as a 3DS ambassador(it's eligible) still waiting for the games to appear.

    If the OP bought it in a B&M store here in Ireland, he has no right to return it unless the item is faulty. The store might agree to give the OP a credit voucher/money back but again they are under no legal obligation to do so.

    The law you are referring to is distance selling regulations and they only apply to internet/phone/magazine shopping. This law does not apply to individual sellers on adverts.ie or ebay for example

    I got it from CEX (whatever that kind of store) you can only get a refund within 48 hours of purchase.
