I always think Katherine Thomas is good but I think Geri Maye is better. Love the banter between her and Marty.

Anyone know who she is engaged to btw?

It's her personality that suits this show.

I think she comes across as very genuine with the contestants.

Ms Maye was spotted on last Saturday night’s Winning Streak sporting a dazzling sparkler, which she received from her groom-to-be Peter Collins, 40, who runs a car wash and valeting business on the Ballysimon Road.

After getting engaged just five weeks ago on Doonbeg beach in Clare, she is now looking forward to their Christmas wedding in Adare, where she also bought her dress for the big day recently.

I have to agree with the OP, I ain't a fan of Miss Thomas anyway but Geri has impressed. Geri use to grate on me in the past when she did her slot n the show, for some strange reason some of the ex RTE childrens presenters seem to spend the rest of their on-air career speaking to everyone else like the rest of the world is a 5 year old kid, like their stuck in kiddy talk mode. Geri at long last seems to be breaking out of that habit.

Totally agree. One of the finest you'll see on Telly. In fairness she doesn't overdo the muck on the face either which helps a lot. But I also think she's a really nice person.

Herself and Siobhan Ryan the new one on the forecast are my two favourites.

I watch Winning Streak under duress when I'm at home and the parents turn it on. Mind you, Catherine is no loss. I never warmed to her. Geri's inserts were always great and I just liked her for her personality on those. She always seemed underused. Any time she filled in for Catherine though she was fantastic. I'd nearly watch the show because of her now, and that's saying a hell of a lot! She comes across as really genuine and a very nice lady. Delighted to see her doing well for herself. Incidentally, she used to go out with Ray D'Arcy back in the day!

Geri Maye is streets ahead of Thomas. I can never understand the attraction of her. She should stick to No Front Here (see what I did there).

Yeah, though in fairness to Thomas, was it actually her producing No Front Here through her own company? Either way she comes across as a hard worker but I could take her or leave her!

I've never seen Jenny but I'm not a big fan of her personality as it comes across on the radio show. She's not a patch on Geri at all though, at the end of the day, if the guy's happy, that's grand!
