Haven't seen a thread for this.

Their new album came out last month but I've only got around to picking it up over the weekend. First impressions are very good - I was hugely impressed with 'These Four Walls' but this is delivering the goods so far.

Anyone else had a chance to listen?

Here's one of the songs from it:

The album release was delayed because one of the band was sick I think.

They're playing Whelan's in Dublin on Thursday night too.

Yeah the lead singer had cancer - has recovered well .. album was recorded before his illness and his illness held up release .... expected more airplay from the likes of Phantom FM ..
Looking forward to the gig tomorrow night should be great

Paul McLoone seems to be the only one who plays them.

Think it was Mikey the guitar player that was sick not the singer.

How could you possibly know anything about WWPJ? Anyone would think you'd, oh I dunno, directed their music videos or something with that 'inside info' attitude. ;)

Was anyone at the gig last night? How was it? I was doing a wonderful 8am-1am shift (yeah, really!) so had to miss out.

Hah! Far from it. I read the press release on their website same as everyone else.

I caught the last 40 minutes. It was very enjoyable. Far from being sold out but the crowd seemed to be really into it - slightly too much so in one case as they booted one guy off the stage mid-song.
