Is he too young?

Bascially I am sleeping with a 19 year old, I'm 23, also I'm pretty sure he lied about his age at one point he slipped that he is 18. He is as University so I know he cant be any younger than that.
I was in a long term relationship the whole way through University myself so am I trying to re-live my ''youth'' (I know 23 isnt old)!I am only recently broken up with ex so I'm not looking for anything serious so this suits me fine! If this was the other way around it wouldnt be an issue ie 19 yr old girl 23 yr old guy!

But is he too young for me?

If you just want sex it's fine, just make sure he knows that's all it is, I'm sure he's delighted :P In all seriousness though, as long as you're both happy with it it's no problem.

Age is just a number so if you both know its a bit of fun and are both enjoying what you have , go for it.

I don't see what the problem is. I assume he knows you're 23. He's above the age of consent so it's not as if you're breaking the law. I just hope he knows it's nothing serious but that's something that applies, regardless of the other person's age.

You are both legally over the age of consent and there isn't such a big age gap that anyone would be viewed as creepy or taking advantage. The main issue with age gaps is if you are both on the same page in terms of where you are in life and emotional maturity.

Age differences generally mean less the older we get - an 18yr old being interested in a 13 year old will be infinitely more frowned upon than the same age gap five years later...not just because of potential legal issues but also because the life of a 13 year old is a million miles away from the life of an 18 yr old. So, as you are both adults and roughly at the same stage of life, if it doesn't bother the two of you - it's really none of anyone else's business.

Thanks for the replies. Ya I dont really know why I was freaking out! I have dated guys who are 30. Yes he does know how old I am, I think he thinks its pretty cool to be honest! He is from a really small place so wouldnt have much oppertunity in the past.

I think I will just enjoy it for what it is.
