Hello friends, I always wish to have my own 4x4 big and strong car  but at the moment I have 97 seat ibiza 999cc :P So I have few questions and I will be super happy if you can answer for all of them, Thanks!

    1. I am 20 years old with prov licence, does this mean that my insurance for 4x4 car will cost like 54867844 euros? At the moment for my ibiza, axa want from me about 1400 euro.

    2. What will be the best car for 4x4? just to learn with no worries that I just totally broke the car? Is there any possibility to get first 4x4 for like 1k euros?

    3. I am Polish so tell me, is there in Ireland many events for 4x4? I dont know to much about Irish events.

    4. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for all feedback.

Suzuki sj or jimmy probably the best bet if you wanna drive it during the week on road and weekends off road.

As the man says, look for a small Suzuki but I'd keep the Seat for everyday especially if you want to get in to off-roading. Bigger 4x4s are going to be wrecks at this sort of money.

There are off-road events around the country, some are just playing, others are serious competitions. If there are any play days they will be posted in the events thread or the 4xforum (link in my sig below) and often on Donedeal as well. You will have to pay to enter most of them.
