Marketing gimmick or genuinely a better option? Is it one of these cases where it works faster only under particular not so common conditions or it is a general case thing?

I can only point you in the right direction. Something to do with monohyrdate and dihydrate form of ibuprofen I think. Doubt it makes too much of a difference. I usually recommend the generic OTC ibuprofen but if somebody insists on Nurofen, Nurofen Express can work out cheaper per dose in some shops.

Its to do with the solubility of ibuprofen. The nurofen express contains a salt form which has better, quicker solubility. How much quicker, i dont know. Id always go save my money and go down the generic route but its all about patient choice I suppose and if a patient feels the nurofen express is better thats up to them
