    I recently had to get a Window Regulator from a Second Hand Scrap Yard Near the Coachmans Pub In Swords Anyway i got it fitted and the Bloody thing Snapped today only got 5 Weeks out of it so im really Pi???d

    What i was just wondering were at this stage i should get one and can anyone recommend were i should get one was thinking of Micks Garage but are these made for irish cars and will teh wiring be the same etc,

    or do i go to Toyota who i think wanted 275 euro plus vat

    i really would help with this please and if anyone has one or can put one on for me

    Any help greatly appreciated please

    There's always a risk with second hand parts that they won't be far off the condition of the one that came out.

    I'd go again and chance another used one providing it's in good nick, and making full sure is fitted properly and working fine after fitting,

    looking at http://www.ehow.com/video_4755899_what-window-regulator.html is there any way you could fix it. Is it the arm that snapped ? or is it the motor that powers it ?

    the one that went in looked like it was in good condition\\

    im a bit sceptic of getting another second hand one

    im beginng to wonder did the guy who put it in do it wrong but cant prove it

    It only happened tonight I thought for a minute the a glass was going to smash

    The motor is working and was going up down then would only go down

    I had to pull up glass to hold it up
