What grease or oil should i use on my aeg's

    Hi, I was just wondering what grease or oil should i use on my aeg's. I recently used silicone oil spray on a v4 gearbox but i know its not the best stuff to use. So what grease should i get? I also have some sort of black bearing grease if that would do the job? Thanks

    For the piston and o-ring, silicone oil. The Lidl or Halfords stuff is great.
    Gears, use silicone grease.

    oh, thanks. Where would i get the silicone greas, halfords is it?

    Halfords might have it, not too sure. I know B&Q and Woodies have it in their plumbing aisles, look for Swan Silicone Grease.
