I live in a Victorian gaff in Dublin. I keep on finding these lads on my walls, despite new carpets and the place being thoroughly cleaned. I can't find anything like them on the internet is there anyone who could fill me in?

I once found one on my mattress as i was changing the sheets. They're kinda gross.

Looks like the larvae of a carpet beetle aka 'wooly bear' possibly the varied carpet beetle (Anthrenus verbasci).

Thanks, that's definitely what it is. Funny i've never seen more than one together and always a few months apart.
