The best games I have played in 3D are:

    Wipeout HD
    Killzone 3
    Resistance 3

I am using the LG PW450T which I got for 470euro with richersounds..

GT5 is class in the rain and batman looked good aswell.
Black ops multiplayer was kinda cool but you'd go blind after a while, well i did anyway, but maybe that was the drink. :)
I just messed about with them on a friends tv for a few hours to see if id invest.

I have not tried the model you mentioned, however i have 40PFL8605 and in fairness the 3D performance is not great. The 3D picture has substantial crosstalk effect especially if you view 3D content straight after turning TV on. It becomes less noticable after about 1 hour but initially could be quite annoying.

Uncharted 3 is supposed to an excellent 3D experience.

@ ink: - That doesnt sound too good. I have heard many good things about the 7000 series, and I would have taught that the 8000 would be as good, if not better.

Could be something wrong with your set maybe?

Cant wait to try Uncharted 3. Loved the first 2

Crosstalk seems to be a problem for most LCD TVs, some are better than others but most if not all suffer from crosstalk.

From what I understand, if you get a passive 3d set, you don't get as much cross talk, but that probably depend on the brand of tv etc.

I watched a passive LG for a few minutes and the crosstalk was the worst I've seen, it could have possibly been improved by adjusting settings but it left me distinctly underwhelmed.

It is common for most if not all LCD/LED TV sets. It is also frequently discussed on the philips support forum. So, i believe that it is not a problem of the set.

As i said previously after about an hour or so of continous work ghost image is almost invisible.

have any of you used the dual display on 3d for local multiplayer gaming. does the image degrade by much?

does the 3d gaming take much out of you compared to standard 2d in terms of tiredness etc. also looking to purchase a tv after xmas but debating whether the 3d is worth it or not as i wouldnt have put it high on the priority list

Not really. Personally i do not see much difference in that respect beetween 2D and 3D, however i believe that 3D might affect different people in different ways. Some people claim that first few days it was quite confusing to play in 3D mode however they got used to it fairly quickly.

Turn it on there may only be a couple of games but play good 3d like uncharted and you won't go back to 2d it's not like movies it makes a big difference to games.

ah yeah ive played 3d games before at media events and it works really well, it's just the pain of having to move my ps3 into where the 3dtv is. i suppose i could just get another one, but that'd be a little wasteful
