Xperia Neo Problem

I got the Xperia Neo around 4 months ago and I've been realy impressed with it but unfortunately last week I dropped it onto the wet ground. It fell around 3 feet but when I picked it up it seemed alright.I opened it up and everything inside was bone dry.Every app was working and there seemed to be no problems.

Around 3 days after I dropped it I started to notice problems. The screen started to lock itself out and the only solution to this was to turn the phone off and on again. The phone does not recognise that the memory card is plugged in anymore and as a result I lost most of my apps as they are stored on it. My battery monitor is also giving me an inaccurate reading.

How should I go about addressing the problems? I am a Vodafone Prepay customer.Would I have to send it away to be repaired? I'm guessing the manufacturers warranty does not cover human error.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Theres 2 tiny nicks on it around a couple of millimetres big.You have to look very closely to see them.

Do you have any idea how much a repair job would cost and how long it would be gone?

You could get it sorted under warranty as a system error then. Probably be gone a few weeks

I wouldnt send it back, I used to fix mobile phones back in the day and if we saw as much as a speck of water damage we just would not touch it, take a photo of the damage and send it back to the customer saying tough luck, you dropped it in water, it may function fine for the next 2 years (if your lucky) but the board will just corrode as the days go by.....

But you see I opened the back of it up and there was no sign of it actually being wet.It was bone dry inside. It was in the water for such a short time I dont think any water got in whatsoever.
