Ok so basically I need a laptop for college. Needs to be portable (i.e. lightweight) and last for a good few years. Budget would be €500. I wouldnt be too big into gaming, maybe a bit of minecraft and football manager.

I was looking at the following laptop and was wondering if this is the best I can get for €500.

    Thanks

I noticed the screen has a 13" screen, are you happy with this size ?

You will probably need to purchase MS word etc as I dont see it included in price. It is possible to get a student version at a much reduced price

€60 here and you possibly get it even cheaper but a cost to factor in

Yeah 13" is what I'm looking for tbh. I wouldn't worry about the microsoft office either tbh. ;)

Anyone able to find better for that price?

    Thanks

Ya but if you have problems how do you return

I bought a laptop in the US, the battery went kaput in a few months. Luckily it was a toshiba and I have an International guarantee. So got a free replacement

Might be a well off to buy local, in the event of needing to return
