Should be a better match than the bookies are suggesting lads, Norwich are showing their a much better side than initially thought and have already gotten a result at Anfield

Painful mistakes really killed us. Wes for that final goal was the nail in the coffin. The first game this season that we didn't play like ourselves.

Another 3 points accomplished. Surprised at Norwich's tactics though. They seemed to want to play with a flat back 10 until they went two down. Thought they might have had a go like they did at Anfield and OT, but they seemed content to pull everybody back behind the ball. The possession stats must be very high in our favour. Very impressed with Samir today; would have been my MOTM just ahead of Micah. Just a shame everyone else around us won as well!
    :(

    Anyway; come on Villa!

*edit* Just checked on the Sky site; 68.9% possession apparently. Not too bad!

Very dissappointing attitude from Wes Houlihan for the last goal. Tries to beat 2 men and get away with the ball half way in to his own half on the touchline, loses it and walks all of about 10 yards int he vague direction of his own goal. Wasnt either of those players that ended up scroeing but they both ran by him and ended up on the back post where either would have had an unmarked tap in if the shot was saved.

tbh though its the type of thing you see from a few players which is not the type of thing you want from a player at the lower end of the league but at times can get away with unnoticed at the top end. A few of those extra goals here and there over the course of a season could be the difference betweem staying up on GD and going down.

It's the first time he got caught out like that.

I've no issue with a player getting caught out. It's what he does next that matters. In this case he did absolutely nothing.

Only 20 posts ( so far ) and the match finished a long time ago!

    Shortest top flight match thread?

I've noticed that the City match threads are very quiet lately. I got fed up in one a few weeks ago talking-to myself:D

City are doing well in all of their matches and I honestly think that is partly the reason for their match threads being quiet...... Some rival fans can't post to get a rise.

I think it's more just boring. At least United seem to have a chance of losing, City 38 points out of 42. That's unbelievable!

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. You have Chelsea, Arsenal and Stoke next, so I'm sure the threads will see plenty of action :)

I'd imagine your right about the games coming up!! It'll certainly be revealing to look thru those threads especially if City are losing to see which posters turn up on the thread:)

Fingers crossed we do get all 9 pts and the match threads are even shorter than this one:D

This always happens when teams are winning when spurs where three down against young boys last year everyone was in to have a laugh and then the return leg at the lane consisted of me talking to myself for 7/8 posts :pac:

I'd have thought the City match threads would be even busier these days with the kind folk of other clubs coming in to congratulate us on another fantastic win
