    Hi All,
I pre-ordered a Asus transformer Prime from USA. Just a question on power adapter:
Will i be able to buy an Irish plug adapter here afterwards?
Will i be able to charge it via USB?

Don't want to find that i get a great new tablet and then find i cant charge it. thanks for the help,
    Trix

You should be able to use a normal travel adapter that Americans would use when they come here/UK.

The Asus adapters are pricey enough on ebay.

Where did you pre order it? I tried best buy but there is no option for it to be delivered outside the US.

Do new tablets not all have to have microSD format chargers or did I dream that? If so you can use a three pin plug with USB input to charge pretty much anything.

Got my Transformer 1 in the US and still use a travel adapter. And no Asus use their own plug style so micro or mini usb won't work.

ordered on best buy, but getting it delivered to a mate over there. no international shipping option, even if there was the customs would crucify you

Uber jealous of you man ;D enjoy ^^
pretty sure I read a bit in a review on either the verge or engadget that said it wasn't chargable via the usb yet but would be with updates.
So I'd just pickup usa to european socket converter for the time being
