Hey, I was wondering did anyone do that before? basically attach phone to their vest or gun and record video? What's the chance of getting shot in lens itself?

Murphy's Law: The odds of toast spinning through the air landing butter face down is directly proportional to the cost of the carpet.

In other words; if you're phone is expensive it has a higher gravitational pull for 6mm plastic balls :D

    Is it worth the risk?

I was thinking of putting it into a case, and then leaving out gap for camera then put some kind of transparent bottle plastic.

    get yourself something like this
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Actioncam-Action-Video-Camera/dp/B001CQQ7J4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322873505&sr=8-1

A mate has someting similar but more expensive and waterproof for kite surfing, gets some great stuff on it. his is in a plastic case so that would stop your pellets

Someone else linked to a seller of action cameras on ebay here a few days ago and they have this for sale.

I use a Tachyon micro HD atm but am upgrading to a GoPro Hero2.
I can tell you straight up that BBs will hit the lens of the camera either from direct shots or indirect so My advise would always be to make sure the lens is strong enough to take hits or get a good cover for it because you could buy one and have it broke in the first game.
