Anyone know how to fix a high cap mag

Have a high cap mag here of a hk33. Similar to any othere high cap. All gears etc inside are perfect. Tried parts from an ak mag in. All fit fine as they are basically the same but it still will not put any pressure on the bb's to feed them into the gun. Does anyone know how the flexible steel cord thingy works inside the gear at the bottom of the mag. Any help is much appreciated.

if its the part that's broken on it I'm thinking of there is a metal plate in one of the gears, the one with the cover on it, open that and I'm pretty sure that the metal thingy in there is broke, the way i fix this is by simply getting a needle nose pliers and bending it back into the grooves on the gear, close it back up and you're done

Yes i tried that but it still did'nt work so i just put the inside of an mp5 mag into the hk33 shell. works fine.
