Sorry to hear about the theft OP.

Without giving away too much information, did the thieves have to break into your house to get the keys.

I ask because I noticed a car with two occupants park close to my house this morning when my car was running in the driveway. One of them got out and was walking towards my house and then awkwardly walked away when he saw me watching my car from the hallway.

I think there may be some opportunists looking for easy pickings on these colder mornings.

Was it stolen from your driveway? Like a certain 520d M-Sport too?

Do not leave your car running in your driveway!! Ever!

Scumbags or junkies will definitely jump in and take it, but you'd be surprised who else would take it if you present it as such easy pickings.

Hi, are you from around my area? I think you could be right with the opportunists on the cold mornings, can you pm what car they were in or if your near me.

    Thanks

Anna, pictures of the car would really help identify it if somebody sees it?

Cars are robbed to be ringed/spare parted. It's now of biblical proportions? Maynooth /Kilcock are certainly getting cleaned out these days.

Would the Insurance cover it if you left your car running when it was stolen?

Must be motorway proximity. Kilcock is plagued. Bother's AGS neighbour had their's lifted recently in Kilcock.

Proximity to mortorway for sure, and the crims seem to know there is virtually no garda presence in the village.
