Dream Booking

OK i have been thinking for a while that a dream booking/writing thread should be opened. Given the current roster and talent at the WWEs disposal how best should it be booked. as in the best ways to 1 sell the product 2 raise the right talent to main event status and 3 it all to make sense. from watching recently and reading this forum this really isn't happening lately (well maybe the making sense bit especially).

I personally think a well thought out feud between CM Punk and Ziggler would really bring Ziggler to the main event. because CM Punk can make his opponent look like a threat more then most in the WWE and at the moment he is over enough to bring someone up with him. Given how cocky Ziggler is getting being best in the world would be the main push behind it.

It would end with Punk wining overall Ziggler hopefully a main event heel and he drops Vicky to go on his own, she can then go and help Swagger alone then.

Ziggler and Punk are made for each other. The run they could have would be fantastic. And I can actually see Ziggler being able to handle himself on the mic with Punk as well with the cocky, doesn't give a fuck for no man attitude he's got going.

Oddly, I don't think it's wishful thinking either. I reckon it's coming. Ziggler has improved at the speed of light in the last year, is getting a solid reaction, and it seems to have been noticed (for once). He is getting a solid push and already had a great match with Punk a few weeks ago (possibly a tester for things to come). Once they get the mid-card title off him the only thing I see getting in the way is that Miz doesn't seem to have much to do now and might be put with Punk, which could ruin Ziggler's momentum.

Well regards Miz is there anyone he can Feud with to keep him of Punk for now. well one that makes sense now that R Truth is gone for a while.
(im writing this as if boards has been given control of booking so please correct advise and all that)

as an upper midcard heel who could he feud with really without it not making sense so Ziggler could feud with Punk. Semus isn't really feuding with anyone, say if Miz kept on the beatdowns and all that Seamus being the no nonsense face comes in to sort him out? would it work?

I just want to add to your light speed improvements; how much of that is down to Vickie being his manager? She is so hated, and so therefore with his attitude, so is he. Getting involved with Ryder also a godsend I think.

I think if he keeps fueding with Ryder, itll go grand. He is going to lose the title to Ryder at some stage, for sure.

Cant wait for them to change the title. Hopefully next few weeks itll change. The spinner sucks, always has, always will. Bring back the smoking skulls :P
As for the other dream matches, Rock-Cena will be one. I can think that Sheamus-Barret would be another great one, and more so than just the Ireland V England thing.

Its more then just dream matches I'm talking about, its more enriching the whole product the Rock Cena match is just that a match it only enhances something if Cena turns into a Company man Heel through and through after with a stable (well thats just for me) he'd enhance lower mid card heels. A Seamus Barrett Feud would be good I gotta say.

I'm all for a new belt been saying it since Punk first won the title then again when Del Rio won it and again when Punk said hes going to change the championship.

Came in to post "Punk vs Ziggler". Two are made for each other at the moment, and could become this generations "Rock vs Stone Cold" if pushed right.

What would people book in Parallel to Punk Ziggler as if you had control over the product.
One feud wont make a show

I would try to re-introduce a proper tag team competition. the Usos AirBourne (when Evan's back) Give Drew Mcintyre a partner to bring him back on screen more, and old nexus boys back together to build a profile for them

On SD for the WHC title I'd had Bryan feuding with Christian or Jericho

First off OP lovely username. We need more Galwegians on here.

Secondly would love to see Ziggler involved in any main-event feud. How he hasn't been destroyed by the Spirit Squad stuff is a credit to him. He can go with anybody these days. Maybe a proper feud with Punk would be great.

I'd love to see Bryan vs Christian, Punk vs Triple H(done properly), Miz vs Jericho, Sheamus vs Undertaker and Mick Foley to be crushed into dust, put in a rocket and fired to the heart of the Sun. That last one is more of a wish than anything.

I love the great main event feuds that are coming in and i would like them all aswell. its just what feuds would show the midcard better in stead of having to wait through quite dodgy midcard stuff to get to the good main events like how better could we use Ted Di Biase for example how to get Drew Mcintyre back, without them being outrageous

Someone who WWE should have in a mid card feud is Tyson Kidd a very underused talent on SD maybe he could join Vickie's stable

I find a lot of the mid card can be fairly weak on the mic and it makes it hard to give a cr*p about them

I know the title divisions are over satuarated but how about give superstars its on title?may give the guys on it a bit of purpose

Also the tag division needs serious sorting out, I just don't see why they don't utilise it properly, the likes of micheals,hart,edge,hardy all came from tag teams, Austin to a degree, they were giving time to hone their trade before breaking out when ready. You just have to look at beer money and see how it works....even Rhodes came from their weak tag division

Said a while ago that I'd like to see the mid-card and tag titles defended as the main event on Superstars every once in a while, or at least host their #1 contender matches.

I think WWE actually has a decent group of teams these days (Air Boom, Swaggler, Epico/Hunico, Usos, Reks/Hawkins, Watson/O'Neil) they're just not getting much focus as a tag division. Do it on Superstars!

I wouldn't let Swggler as a team Ziggler is doing very well at the moment now if Vicky found someone foe Swagger then yeah it would work. Would having it on Superstars increase the value of it? I only watch Raw and Smackdown since i started to watch wrestling again after id say a 13 year gap and well the Tag Team division was strong and on the main show because of the emphasis on it.
If i was in charge of booking id get another few teams together to make 8 in total have a 4 way tag match one on Raw one on smackdown the winners face eachother for the titles. (lets say air bourne got stripped of them because of Evans suspension) By that alone and then having sustained bouts in the Tag division would build it up again well in my humble opinion
