I would stay away from these kind of unknown brand cheap tablets. Parts tend to be crap. They're all over eBay and stuff. You get what you pay for in a tablet. It's best to save up and get a Samsung Galaxy Tab, Sony Tablet or something along those lines.

Looks like it might be the same model as the one discussed here for ~€40?

    Not a bargain.

for an android 2.2, you should be looking at €40 - €60 on ebay

ebay; Type in ---7" MID Touchscreen 4G Android 2.2 OS Tablet PC Epad Wireless WiFi Camera 256MB---

    click on
    ---time ending soonest
    ---Free post and packaging

only problem is you might have to pay customs of circa € 18.

At first glance, it seems like a better deal than this in Smyths Toys: http://www.toys.ie/Elonex-eTouch-702ET @ €199.99

That's like telling the man who is about to buy a Toyota Yaris that he'd better save up because a Rolls-Royce is so much better :D

I've been using a GPAD G10 (similar to the OP's) for the past 6months and apart from the battery only lasting 1.30hr on wifi its absolutely fine, off wifi it lasts about three hours so watching a movie or reading an ebook for a couple of hours is fine.

lets be honest for 85 euro your not going to be blown away, but I wouldn't dismiss them.

Kind of on topic, I had a look at the Hch forum about installing uberoid and I'm lost. Do you run the wizard .exe on your pc and put in your SD card and just follow the prompts?
