Just saw this ad on DD.

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2734385

The car looks fine, a car of this age being sold for parts usually has been wrapped around a tree. Whats going on here?

I would guess it was impersonating a submarine recently.

Water damage perhaps, no interior stuff for sale and the windows are pretty fogged up.

    Stolen recovered perhaps?

Yip....flood damage I'd say. Lots of condensation on the inside of the windscreen

I assume its an insurance write off

Car could be flood damaged, even if the car seems ok there could be gremlins that could make themselves known down the line. Insurance companies just write them off rather than repairing them and risk the car comming back to them at a later date with more problems

The silt on the carpets, pedals and ash tray point to some knee high paddling at least. I like the mould on the steering wheel - nice touch.
