TV Licence question

I have a tv licence for an apartment, i've since moved out from there to an apartment where one of the occupants has a TV Licence. Any idea what happens here when my licence expires? I presume i should update my address with the TV licence office...but is the new place covered once a valid licence is registered at that…

One licence required per address.

Once your licence for the old address expires the renewal notice will go to the old address. Renewal for that address will be the responsibility of the owner/new tenent if the have a TV there.
