    Hi all
Hoping someone here can help me!!I'm lost in slr reviews!
Basically I'm a total beginner to this but I'm looking to get an
    Slr camera!problem is I don't have a big budget around 400euro and
I don't even understand half of the "lingo" used..
I just want it to take good quality pics instead of having to fork out for
Studio pics of the small one.

Any advice or suggestions (or translations lol) would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!!

May I ask what may seem like a really daft question but its perfectly reasonable to me. Is an slr camera one that you can focus manually? Or are there other kinds of cameras that do that too? Bet you dont feel like such a beginner now. A lot of people seem to be giving the nikon d60 good reviews, if thats any help.

Hey guys, there's a stickied thread on camera buying advice in the main photography forum... you should find some good advice there.

Good photos are not always about the camera, you have to learn how to use the one you have.
