irish naturalization application acknowledgement period.

    hi everyone,

    I need your kind advice regarding my application for naturalization which I have submited on 20 September 2011 and I am still waiting for acknowledgement of my application.
    Does anyone know how long it will take to get an acknowledge from the Citizenship office

    It certainly shouldn't take that long. Your TD can contact INIS for you and ask if it has been received, s/he should get an answer within a couple days.

    I have submitted Irish Citizenship application on 20/10/11, i put september by mistake.

    do you know how long they will take for initial checks
