Anyone know where to buy a 15M Cat5 cable in Ireland?

Weird that they cost upward of €24 here, yet only £2 Sterling over the waters... is there some kind of Network Tax I haven't heard about? Or are only Stonecutters allowed to buy cables over 10 metres long in this country? :pac:

LOL! That must be the only cable they actually ship overseas! Needed to get something else from Amazon anyway. Can't find any delivery costs though - stupid Amazon not telling me delivery charges until I order (which I can't as I need to find out the full price BEFORE getting the 3V to order WITH! )

That €2 price is hard to believe!! I usually make up my own cables but had to get 90 "1 metre" CAT5e patch cables for a new network that I installed in a school during the week and they cost me 0.79c each wholesale! I should move to UK to set up there!

I had the same issue as you. I need one urgently one day and didnt have any cable or RJ45 ends with me.. I found a cheap 20M one in Peats for a €9.99

Generally I buy the cable in any electrical suppliers and get a few connectors thrown in at the same time. a simple crimper from amazon and you can have the cable whatever length you want..

I know Maplins can put together a cable for you of any length. Don't know what the price is.

All Irish shops take the piss with cables.
