They're discussing, not investigating I suppose.

They're discussing now, they were investigating earlier on.

    Same ominous PI voice...

I was confused about this as well... "Prime Time" has been on a few times since it was NOT meant to be on... They said that only "Prime Time Investigates" would be on...

But tbh, given that they have brought on Priest Of The Year, and broadcast a generally positive perception of the church, I dont think the Religious will be reporting RTE to the BCI for this one...

Seems to me like RTE will be overcompensating in the next few months, and that's not good for objectivity either..

    You have that backwards.

I'm still confused... I think I was right in what I said above... Regular Prime Time is allowed, Prime Time Investigates is not... Not that there's a huge difference between them...

Maybe it's RTE's ploy to make a distinction between the two, so as not to damage vanilla flavoured Prime Time's reputation...

    I know! I know!

Yep PT is allowed. PT investigates is not.

But I reckon what they're calling PT is in essence PT investigates. IMO they are flouting the ban.

You were correct the second time

PrimeTime with Miriam - Good, Still going.
PrimeTime Investigates - Bad, On Hiatus.

It's a great shame if PrimeTime Investigates gets cancelled or
even suspended for a long while
they should just punish the guys that screwed up and then drive on
    introduce a new protocal:eek:

televised investigate journalism does the state soceity a great service
    in theory.

We need it more than ever and now if PrimeTime Investigates gets cancelled
all we will have is TV3
