I'm currently Studying in Dun Laoighaire doing a Plc course and getting back to education allowance.

I was thinking of applying for a BSc Honours in Computing in Nci for next year

I was on student finances but find it so hard to understand

Can I get a grant to pay the course fees and still stay on btea? What would be the best trying to do as no body in my house is earning at the moment

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

unless they change the rules next year, you should be able to get your reg fee paid in the college only while you're on BTEA.

You should be able to stay on btea which means they will keep paying you the BTEA rate and also pay your student contribution fee. You wouldn't be eligible for a maintenance grant as well

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
