Fulcrum racing 1's for cyclocross

Would you or have you used fulcrum racing 1's for cyclocross? The stock wheels on my bike are DT Swiss R 1900's which weigh in at about 1900g. The fulcrum are nearly 500g lighter. Is there any reason why I shouldnt put my Fulcrum racing 1s on my crosss bike for a race?
