Imported car- effect insurance?

My bf bought a used car from a dealer last week.
He was told it had 1 previous owner..
He got insurance sorted & waited for the log book.
The log book arrived this evening. It says it was first registered in 2004 (Its a 2004 by the way).. It says it was first registered in Ireland in 2009..
Stupid question but does that mean it's an import?
Will this effect his insurance quote/ tax etc?
I presume it has more than 1 owner like the dealer said..

Shouldn't be any problem unless it's a Japanese import and they rate it risky because it's easier to steal due to lack of immobilizer.

Its just a Toyota Corolla.. I presume I am ok.. I think it has an immobiliser..
Sorry- utterly clueless!! Its a T2 which I think means it's from the UK...

Insurance companies refer the term "import" to cars that were imported from outside the EU.

Oh God that's embarrassing! Thanks anyway. Just figured that out.
The model itself proves it's from the UK...
