    Hi,
Living in an 1970's build house with a real old Baxi back bioler heating system.
I am after a general price/guideline for replacement of the bolier and new piping to the rads as the seem old and running pretty close to the floorboards with some actually above the flooring level..
Possibly looking at a total outlay of 4,000 i reckon....

It seems i can get a 560 ish euro grant for a high efficency boiler...

    Any help/advice gratefull

Get a good fitter, ask friends or neighbours for recommendations. Do some research yourself about boiler models and look at guarantees. Do not scrimp on any aspect of heating controls and ask for advice from your fitter about the best way to fit the system. Also consider any update like solar that will affect your cylinder choice.
