Help with unlocking iPhone 4

    Hey, hoping one of you can help me. I'm after upgrading from an iPhone 4 to 4s with Three and hoping to get the 4 unlocked so I can sell it. I know I have to connect it to iTunes after I get the code but what I'm wondering is can I complete this without a sim from another network before I sell it because I don't know anyone with an iPhone with a mirco-sim on another network. So just wondering can I still do the unlocking process?
