What bike to get?

The age old question that has been asked a million times over but just looking for a few opinions cos I don't trust my one.

Started out on a Bianchi Via Nirone 7 with Shimano 105,then changed onto a BMC Streetracer but on the suggestion of others I am now looking at the Giant carbon entry level bikes either the Defy2 with Sram Apex or the TCR2 with an Ultegra mix.

    Any opinions?

before you buy take a look at dolan bikes really class at a great price there was a thread on dolan a while back.but as the man said its what you fancy yourself they dont make bad bikes these days :P but be careful of what gear is on it .

I know thats the prob, the TCR is a good frame but it mixes Ultegra with parts below 105's even, seems a bit odd,Cube have a carbon bike at same price with full Ultegra

dont know to much about cube frames but shimano ultegra is fantastic you probably think i'm crazy but consider a steel frame ;)google a few steel builders before you settle on carbon.
the reason i say this i have a beautiful look full carbon bike but my favorite bike is still my 28 year old steel bike as good as the day it was made , but it would have been the top of the range in its day but it just shows a well made steel bike will last a lifetime can we say the same for carbon  and the great Sean Kelly says he still prefairs steel.
