Zyme is a chipmusic/Skweee/8bit/wonky/you-name-it DJ based in Dublin, who uses a multiplicity of methods to transmit his particular take on the beautiful world of electronica. The gamepak man has been known to lash it out using everything from good old fashioned vinylage, through slaptop controllerism, to live doubled-up nintendo DS-jamming as his alterego Glotchbot.

It was as one of the founders of the Gamepak Dublin collective that Zyme but his 8-bit chip chops- a posse that for several years now has been bringing joypad-generation tunage to Dublin clubgoers with their frantic chiptune parties & games-themed club nites, as well as running gigs & opensource workshops showcaring music being made off hacked-up gaming consoles, circuit-bent toys & other unlikely sources.

These days, Zyme's purveying a fine line of what you might call 'bass-laden, bleeped-out, dubbed-up, glitchified, wonked-off machine-funk beats'. Having smashed the place up at this year's Jigs & Rigs festival, as well as wowing the chillstage at knockanstockan with choice psychedelic electronical delights, we're delighted to have him at the inaugural choon night!
