TOTD (Thread Of The Day)

    What makes a thread be the 'thread of the day'? I know that with POTD it's the one with the most likes, so I assumed it was a similar story with threads. But today I had a look at the TOTD and it had less than two pages of posts, no thanks and the majority of the replies were disagreeing with the OP.

    Does an admin just pick a random thread he/she likes or what?

    Ah so it's random! ...that's not good actually, I think it should work on a thanks system similar to POTD. I mean I 've seen threads started entitled 'what to do with all these travellers' etc, then when you take the prison forum into account... *imagines clicking on TOTD one day and seeing 'Zaph is a faggót'*
